Thank you for choosing Sol + Soma Salon. When you book an appointment with us, we reserve that time exclusively for you. As a small business, late cancellations and missed appointments can have a significant impact on our team and prevent other guests from securing an appointment.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with our booking and cancellation policy.

Booking Fee

To secure your appointment, a booking fee is required at the time of booking, from time to time and for our existing clients rebooking our team will waive this.

  • Colour appointments: $100 booking fee

  • Haircut and styling appointments: $50 booking fee

Your booking fee will be applied towards your service total on the day of your appointment.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask that you provide as much notice as possible.

More than 48 hours’ notice

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with more than 48 hours’ notice will incur no cancellation fee.

If you are not rebooking, your booking fee will be refunded to your original payment method.

Less than 48 hours’ notice

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment time will forfeit the booking fee held against the appointment. if no booking available, our team will get in contact to process this payment.

Same-Day Cancellations

Appointments cancelled on the day of the appointment will incur a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the booked service value.

Any booking fee already paid will be applied towards this cancellation fee.

No-Shows

If you fail to attend your appointment without notifying us, the booking fee will be forfeited.

Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may require full prepayment of future appointments at the discretion of the salon.

Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that illness, emergencies and unforeseen circumstances can arise.

In genuine exceptional situations, cancellation fees may be waived at the discretion of Sol + Soma Salon. We reserve the right to review each situation individually and may keep a record of exceptions granted to ensure the policy is applied fairly and consistently.

Our intention is not to penalise our guests, but to protect the time of our team and ensure appointment availability for all clients.
